Dr Sheila Adams is a prominent painter, sculptor and photographer, now residing in the Seattle area. She has been an artist since she was 7 years old, when as a second grader she won an all school poster contest depicting herself skating. Since then, she has had many exhibitions nationwide.

On the East coast, she's exhibited at the Boston Institute of Contemporary Arts, at the Viridian Gallery in New York, The Alpan Gallery in New York, and the Artist's Alcove Studio, Acton, MA, and she has had two one woman shows at University Place, Cambridge, MA.

On the West coast, at Artrevelations.com Studio/Gallery, San Francisco, CA, Gallery 1212, Burlingame, CA, Borders, Sunnyvale, CA and Mountain View, CA, And several solo shows of sculpture, paintings and photography in Los Altos Hills, CA.

In the Northwest, Sheila presently has 4 installations in the Monarch Sculpture Park, Olympia, WA and just finished a solo show in a gallery in Kirkland, WA.

Her art is soon to be featured on network TV nationwide.

Sheila studied art at Harvard University Carpenter Center, Cambridge, MA, She was honored by Stanford Art Center's 15 member's docent's tour, explaining her philosophy that every person has unlimited creativity only subject to being acknowledged and unleashed.

With that in mind, she has developed and patented a product to enable everyone to create unique works of art. She calls her product, "Whatever Comes to Mind." It is one length of flexible metal, that comes compressed into a coil. When stretched out, it can be twisted and formed into any curved shape one wishes. It can stand alone, or be attached to additional coils to create art works of any size.
